Please review my new Health/Safety guidelines before your next appointment...

Now that I'm open again, I'd like to review with you some of the new health and safety protocols that have been put into place to assure your peace of mind when it comes to protecting you from the spread of contagious diseases.
I am following strict guidelines and requirements from the California Association Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC), as well as recommendations from the International Spa Association (ISPA), State of California and CDC.
Additionally, I've gone over and above what is required by purchasing a commercial air purifier and UV light sterilizer wand, both of which claim to kill 99.9% of viruses and germs.
Enhanced Sanitation Procedures
-
Hard surfaces and high-touch areas (i.e., door handles, light switches, restroom key, arm chairs, and side tables will be regularly sanitized.
-
Restroom and door handles and all touchpoints will be disinfected every few hours.
-
Blankets and table dressings will no longer be used.
-
All clean sheet sets will be stored in a closed cabinet.
-
The water dispenser and drinking cups have been removed. You will need to provide your own water.
-
Display products and/or samples, along with any brochures or literature have been removed.
-
I will provide hand sanitizer for your use while in my office.
New Protocol for Your Appointments
-
If you have a fever or cold/flu-like symptoms or have been around someone sick within the last two weeks, you will need to reschedule your appointment for a later date. Last minute cancellations due to illness will not incur a fee.
-
You will be required to wear a face mask upon entering/leaving the building, but have the option to remove it while receiving your massage. If you prefer to wear your mask during your session, I respect your decision and, likewise, I will also wear a face mask.
-
You will no longer be allowed to sit in the lobby, so plan to arrive as close to your appointment time and walk directly to my office. Please note that if you arrive earlier than your appointment time, you will need to wait in your car before coming into the building.
-
Please do NOT ask the lobby receptionist to let you in the restroom. If you need to use the restroom, you will need to obtain the key from my office. The key will be sanitized with an alcohol spray before and after your use.
-
After you enter my office, I will check your temperature with a non-touch infrared thermometer. If your temperature is 100 degrees or more, I will kindly ask that you reschedule your appointment.
